Text neck…could become a real pain! Our world is in our phone. When you go to read the latest text do you collapse a bit each time? Or suddenly react in response to a ‘ping’… possibly jerking the head back unknowingly…tensing up unnecessarily. Are you aware of our surroundings as this happens or completely in the screen?
It is all too easy in the ‘phone’ moment to lose ourselves in these repeated damaging actions. Could we quietly be building up, creating long term problems for ourselves in areas we don’t even know about yet? The Alexander Technique makes us more aware of how we are in these moments, encouraging a lighter, more ‘up’, less down(!) not so overly reactive us. So, less pain and tension, more freedom and choice even when making a call. Improved alignment…posture. An investment for our future health…a true preventive approach for good living. What could be better?

My note to myself: Currently available here http://drawingbreath.co/wp-admin/post.php?post=15&action=edit but does not seem to appear under any page or post menu, looks like an orphan post, need to look into the theme blog mechanism and work out why it is an orphan. In the meantime we have this copy as a regular page so that we can recreate the blog entry when the problem is understood.
